Funding Projects

The Tele-education Room of Thessaloniki's ΑΤΕΙ was created in terms of two projects that were co-funded by the European Union.

With the older project"Supply of the equipment for the tele-education room of the Technological Education Institute" a tele-education room was created, with a capacity of 50 seats, which is able to support asynchronous and synchronous teleconference among four distant points.

With the new project"Utilization of the tele-education infrastructure of the Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki and use of new technologies in distance learning" Thessaloniki's ΑΤΕΙ proceeds to utilization of the tele-education room with the following actions:

• Training of ATEI's personel in order to use the room.
• Implementation of distant courses and creation of proper audiovisual educational material.
• Technical Support of Tele-education courses.
